Outings!

Our family outings are always done with frugal in mind, go figure. When we go to 6 Flags, we can get out the door in under 15 minutes if we all work together. I thought that the list that we use might be a good starting point for your family,so here it is....
Bread or tortillas
cheese slices
lettuce, chopped
tomatoes, sliced
mustard
mayo
lunchmeat
fruit
chips
water, I freeze a few bottles the night before so I don't have to buy ice
granola bars
cookies
plates
paper towels
a few grocery bags for garbage and what not

I just save the same list and pull it out every time we go. I hope this helps you. This is the most complete list I can come up with. It covers the two most important food groups, sweet and salty.
