Volcano Cake

This is a super easy cake. We made it for our friend's daughter. So if you have a moment stop over and harass Steve. It's good for him! Anyways, Bekah was turning 10 and I had been wanting to try this out for a while. You are going to need 4 cake mixes, 2 frosting, red food coloring, chocolate chip, sprinkles, and dry ice. I figure that the cake cost about $14.70 to make. Just make all the cakes in 8" pans. Stack all 8 cakes.
And then carve and sculpt it into a volcano. Cut a hole in the middle and insert a small glass.

Heat two of the chocolate frostings until they are liquid and pour them on. Use a spatula to spread it over the whole cake. Then throw sprinkles and chocolate chips at it. They will stick very well. And then heat the white frosting until its a liquid and add the red food coloring. Drizzle all around to look like lava.

Then just carefully put water in the cup and add dry ice. This didn't take long to put together and it was really cool. At least, that's what Bek said.

Thanks for stopping by,
