Anna's Famous!

Anna did really well at her Track meet and she landed on the back page of the News Sun. It's a pretty big paper around here. I told her that only huge athletes get an entire page and the back one at that! She said that now she can cross one thing off of her bucket list.
Thanks for stopping over,
SonyaAnn

Congrats to Anna!

If I ever have my picture in the paper, it will probably be because I got in trouble.

I had my pic in the paper once, but it was little and in B&W.

Annie Jones-I had to bust out! But it would probably be the same for me!

Frances-Was it a mug shot?

Beth-I usually don't brag but I couldn't believe it. She looks so happy, it was a good picture. The paper is delivered all through the Chicagoland area.

Feeling Just Right-One of her friends text her about the picture and we ended up searching for it at midnight. We were all so shocked!
And I'm so glad that you are stalker free. That was crazy! Just keep it small. How did she find out about the blog in the first place? Just cover your tracks!

Congratulations to Anna. I would brag too--you have much to be proud of.

How funny that you heard about it by text.

It was not a mugshot. :-b~~~~~~~~

Yay Anna!

She's too young for a bucket list - Maybe "things to do before I'm 20" or "stuff to finish before I make my mom a grandma!"

Eternally Distracted-I've been telling her everything that everyone has said. She loves it!

SonyaAnn said...

Sheila-Thank you! And thanks for coming to see me!

Frances-I think that is the only way that teenagers communicate.
LOL!

SonyaAnn said...

Jude-LOL! I'll tell her she is too young. I didn't even think about it like that!

SonyaAnn, "in my day" (LOL!), teenagers had to get their news through landlines and the internet. LOL! They got cellphones when they got jobs, but texting wasn't the big thing it is now.

All right, Anna! Good job!

SonyaAnn said...

Frances-Yes, I remember that day!

Pam-She is still all smiles!

That is AWESOME!!!!!!! Seriously CONGRATS to HER!

save that newspaper...inside a large ziplock... to keep it safe from any flooding! ;)

(like you know i have flooding on the brain...the thing I learned was all me hours of organizing papers inside those plastic protector sleeves were the items that turned out the worst! The protector sleeves trapped the water and I had to throw out everything that was in binders like that! The things that were safe were the loose papers that I was able to lay out flat to dry! ..just an insiders tip!)

kado!-She is super happy still!
And honey, we flooded with sewage! We lost $40k. It was a huge mess and we had to move out. I hate floods! I still get all worked up when the washing machine overflows. I'm trying to find a place that will laminate it for cheap. Then we are going to frame it.
