Our Little Trip

These are just a few shots of our room here in Wisconsinland! I hope that you enjoy and treasure everyone of these pictures because finding a Hot Spot here is not an easy feat!! Treasure them! Things move very slow here and if I ever feel that my life is going by too quickly, I'll come up here for a day or two. DJ and Den were saying the same thing and that one day counts for two. Even the clocks tick slower!
This is the 80's kitchen but it is SUPER clean so I won't complain!
DJ is so happy to go fishing!

And just to prove that I'm a die-hard couponer here is proof. Yes, I packed my coupons. It would be like leaving my woobie behind!
Thanks for stopping over,
SonyaAnn
PS-If you leave a comment, I will get back to you! It's just going to take a while

Sounds like y'all are having a great time. One thing we found again after moving back to the south--the much slower pace!! I love it--Even the clocks tick slower!
I thought I was the only one to call something a "woobie"--that would be Kevin's bathrobe--that thing went everywhere for years--he couldn't sleep without it--then he lost it on one of his trips!! Poor thing couldn't sleep for weeks!!
Enjoy your vacation--it sounds wonderful so far--y'all sure do deserve a great vacation!!

It sounds like you are having a good time. Relax and enjoy it and try not to think of me sitting at work being totally jealous!

Looks like a great place! Have a wonderful time and don't get sunburned!
We spent some time in the Dells and had a blast a few years back. LOVE Wisconsin, land of the cheese!

Sheila-I would love a robe that felt like a woobie. Or maybe a bed that was comforting like a woobie.
It's still pretty boring here. Den and DJ went fishing and here I sit in the lobby, the only place that gets a signal. Oh well, I would rather be here than trekking through the woods looking for a place to fish.

Linda Robinson-I do like it here but it is making a bit nuts not to be able to get online. My addiction is official!

seth-Thank you so much for stopping by!

slugmama-No disasters thus far! Just give me a little more time!

Frances-Don't be jealous, I'm still stuck with Den!!!LOL

McVal-It's pretty cool here so I won't burn. Darn, cuz I love the hot!
And the Dells, rock. I love it there and if you go in the winter it is empty. You can have the entire indoor water park to yourself! Just a thought if you are planning on going back!

Rene W.-It's nice here but I'm feeling a little guilty that Anna is at school and we are here. Oh well, she is about grown and I'll get used to it.

Sounds like a fun trip. You sound like me. I always take my coupons on vacation. Who knows when you might score a bargain?

slugmama said...

I think you need to take your cheese coupons...it is Wisconsin after all.lol

Hey, are you going near DeForest WI? There is a lifesized pink elephant statue at the Citgo just off the Interstate there...you can see it from the road. Go have your picture taken with it like I did the last time I was passing thru there!!lol

If you are going home via I-39/94/90 it's between the Dells and Madison.
The elephant is off the same exit as the Cheese Chalet(they have a giant cow u can pose with too....we did!lol)

Tell me you brought pantry staples (purchased on sale with coupons) along on vacation?
I did:

Pam-I have not scored any coupon/bargains yet. I'm disappointing myself!

slugmama-The Dells are northwest of us. We went straight north so I didn't see that. We have a cheese chalet right by us. Its on the IL/WI border but wee don't have an elephant. But it is on I94.

slugmama-I hope that if we do get to take a little trip we get to go to the Dells and I'll look for it. I would much rather be at home than here. It's boooooorrrrrrrriiiiiiiinnnnnngggggg!

Donna Freedman-Yes, we did but I'm sad to say that we spent more than I had hoped. But the good news is I got some awesome thank you presents and Father's day presents! Oh well, I have to spend a little bit once in a while.
