Halloween Ideas!

Thanks to the fun and slightly twisted Donna Freedman, I have a new site to scour for Halloween. The site has all kinds of foods for a Halloween Party.

Believe it or not, that is not kitty litter, it's cake. I'm not quite sure if I'll make that one for the party we are going to this weekend. I'll probably just stick with cookies.
Thanks for stopping over,
SonyaAnn

I've actually tried one of those and it wasn't that bad, but just the idea of it is disgusting. Besides, all my friends know I have cats and wouldn't put it past me to pull the ol' bait and switch.

I haven't been to a Halloween party in so long--I probably shouldn't comment!! I just like regular party foods--I can't do gross--guess I'm just an old fuddy-duddy!!! Hope you are having a great week!!

Oh, that looks NASTY! I probably will not try that...it looks too much like my old cat's litter box! :)

A co-worker brought kitty litter cake to work once. ONCE.
EEWE.

Note to self....never attend a party where Annie Jones has made the...er, food. ;-)

I have seen this cake before in person. It is not for the sqeamish, though our beagles would prefer that it was NOT a cake but the real deal. Have I mentioned that our beagle is gross?

I guess the gross halloween type foods are really more for kids because they enjoy this sort of stuff....or SonyaAnn! lolol

I can go you one better (worse): I interviewed a plumber whose contribution to a gross-out-type party was to bring the beverage.
Lemonade.
The punch bowl?
A brand-new toilet.
And for extra credit? He floated some Tootsie Rolls in it.
It was a big hit. Of course, this was a party at which the bean dip was served in a disposable diaper.
(Hee hee: I can "go" you one better. Just realized the toilet humor.)

Annie Jones-Ugh, I couldn't get it down. Nope not happening.

Sheila-You aren't a fuddy-duddy. I have a hard time with that too. Food shouldn't gross you out.

A.Marie-I agree and it looks exactly like my cat pan so no first or second helpings for me!

SonyaAnn said...

McVal-So did you try it?

SonyaAnn said...

Sluggy-I agree with you on the Annie thing.
My friend's dog loves the cat pan. Crunchy little snacks. UGH!

Donna Freedman-Welp, you have once again out done yourself. Seriously, where do you find these people? But the thing is, I'm going to store this in the back of my little brain for the next party. You are a bad influence!

Together We Save-I agree completely!

My sister has made those cakes. We all think it is disgusting, but the people she worked with thought they were hysterical. And delicious.

SonyaAnn said...

Frances-I think its great but I couldn't even put it on my plate when it was being served at a party. Just couldn't do it.

That's just wrong SonyaAnn! Just WRONG I tell ya! lmbo

Lisa B.-Yup, I don't think that I'll ever be able to bring myself to eat that.
