YAY!

I love Halloween! It is way better than Christmas. This is a plate of cookies that I made last year to bring to a party. I made crinkles and I used the Pecan Sandy recipe(minus the nuts) to make fingers and round cookies I could draw eyes on. To make a finger just roll the ball into a finger shape making sure to make indentation so it looks like there is a knuckle and then press the almond in. After you bake them, you may need to let them cool on the cookie sheet, they are delicate until room temperature. The Walmart by us sells food color pens. I used them to color the cookies.
Just a thought,
SonyaAnn

AnnieJ....*groan* lol

You are so creative SonyaAnn.
I'd think about making these but wouldn't because I am just too lazy.
I think my creative juices have all dried up.....I am a creative prune.lol

@Sluggy: I think the new, improved and correct terminology is "creative dried plum".

So cute! I am surprised you didn't just knead food color into the dough. Then you wouldn't have had to color them. Oh wait, I would be that lazy. Clearly you are not.

I love it! I wish I was crafty but I'm not one of those people. However, I am a huge fan of those who are.
Love it! Wait, I think that I already said that? Doesn't matter, I still mean it.
Your Friend, m.
I'll be back.
By the way, sorry that I missed your 16th. I hope that you didn't wait up all night waiting for my comment.

Jill-Thank you!
And I can't wait until this week is over!

slugmama-I'm completely lazy and this was super fast. The crinkles take maybe 7 mins to put together. The sandies take 12 minutes to make and only a few minutes to put into balls or "fingers". It really isn't that bad. And I believe in you, is that enough motivation?

Together We Save-Thank you! They were tasty to if I can brag just a bit!

Nicole-:)

Frances-I did knead it in for the "fingers" and I "colored" the eyes on.
Thank you for coming to see me! I need my daily dose of Frances every day.

Mark-Thank you so much for coming to see me! I feel special.
And my 16th was ok considering the dead raccoon, it worked out way better than it should have. I bet you have never gotten that for a "gift"!
