Slim To None

I don't want to get anyone's hopes up but we might be getting a new addition to the family. No it isn't a child, thank all things! My inlaws are willing to sell us their 2006 kia van ubber cheap. So any ideas how I can come up with $3000 in a few days? I'm all for being a pimp.
The problem is if Den doesn't ok this purchase then we can't get Anna and all of her crap college stuff home . To which you say, "Why would you want her home?" Exactly! But if my inlaws don't have a van then we can't borrow the van to haul Anna back. Hmmmmm.
Think fast cuz I have to have a good way to convince him,
SonyaAnn

This is too much pressure! I can't think fast on my feet. You know, if you have a decent video camera and can create a private site, I'm sure that you can use your imagination to make it work. Believe me, there are tons of Freaks out there who would pay. Hell, I'd pay to see it. Which I guess would make me a Freak. But don't worry, I would just watch to laugh. No offense! m.

Mark-Dear God, what is wrong with you! But I am more than willing to be your pimp but I may have to use the pimp hand on you. Just kidding but I'm more than willing to use it on Den.
Oh and I laughed so hard when you left the comment on someone's blog(can't remember now) Dear Jesus! You are nuts!

Dear Jesus!lol What all did you send w/Anna to college? We transport and get #1 son & his stuff each term with a Chevy Malibu. Most of what he has fits in a foot locker and then there is the mini-fridge, laptop and his backpack.

Can you afford $3K on a van? Sounds like a great deal if you can....
We can always set up a pay-per-view cam in my stockpile....I know Mark would pay to oogle that. ;-)

oK... How many pop cans do you have in your garage?... Here's what you do. Get them from one state that doesn't pay you much for the cans. Take them to a state that gives you 5 cents per can. With enough trips you might be able to pull this off.
Oh and you'll need a van.

Sounds like a great time to clean out the house and garage and start selling quickly on ebay! LOL That's a great deal for a 2006! Hope it works out for you!

Blessings,
Jill

sluggy-LOL I thought that we did really good with Anna. Even the RA said that she didn't have much. Her new room mate has twice the stuff that Anna has. But there is a huge difference between girls and the boys. As long as the boys have video games and a tv that is all that they think they need. They don't even care if they have clothes!!!!

McVal-I like your thinking!! And the sad thing is I know which state pays the most!! Around these parts its Michigan!! How about an 8-9 hr drive to get a few nickles? LOL You are great!

~Niki~I think we can come up with the cash but I'll have to rob some other funds! Thanks for the help and for stopping by to see me!

Jill-I do have a few things that we could get rid of. Hmmm, I've only had one garage sale so maybe its time for another.
Thank you for all of your help!

Jane-Would I be allowed to donate Den and the kids? Then I wouldn't need the van though.

Jane-I had a blogger stutter the other day too.

Frances-I'm just going to call you Den. LOL He said the same thing. The only problem is our other cars have a ton of miles on them. For $3k, we would get a vehicle that would last us a while. I'm not sure how long the 99 Lumina is going to make it and if we did have to replace it, we couldn't get a car/van for that cheap. And it is really good condition.
Thank you for always helping me, I really appreciate it.

SonyaAnn, I am glad you found a good vehicle for that price!

Frances-Thank you, and me too!
