Odds and Ends

I'm having a hard time getting into the swing of summer and it seems that I'm running out of time to get things done.
I got another $20 from Toluna. I'm up to $100 for Christmas. That is good news.
I took all the money that we had saved in our funds so that we could pay cash for the van. I managed to save $600 in the car fund to replace what we spent on the van in a few months. The bad news is the deductible and the tow ate it all up. But I'm super thankful that we had it.
I took two pieces of lunch meat added tomato, dill, ranch dressing and then peppered it.

I tied it off with some chives and made another lunch sensation for Anna and Den. I know super exciting.
Have a great day,
SonyaAnn

I can't even handle hearing about all that excitement. How do you fit it all in?
I'm just glad you wrote something. I'm always happy to see a new post from you. Even if it does involve lunch meat.

Mark-You are the encouragement that I need right now. Everything is out of control here. I hate that. I need an organized life and things need to be orderly and on time. I'm kind of like Rain Man.

Ok..I will babble on some more...but remember, YOU insisted!lol

You are doing wonderfully with Toluna! Keep it up and you'll be able to fund a big chunk of Xmas with that $!!
Toluna obviously hates me, but they love my 15 yr. old son....go figure.lol

Being able to pay cash for that van is awesome! And being able to replace that money so quickly is even better. You seem to truly have a great handle on your finances now....it's that or you are stripping down at the club on the sly. Knowing you, I can't decide which it is. teehee

You are turning into my frugal/financial hero.....

sluggy-Trust me no one would pay to see me nekkid. I'm afraid of my own reflection.
Thank you for the money kudos but I just don't feel as if we have enough of a cushion. I pretty much wiped us out with the van. But I do feel that it was a necessary evil.
I would love to be your hero but you said I was a stripper. Is that what you long for?

lol....now you have my old menopausal brain kerfuddled.
I don't think anybody thinks they EVER have enough of a financial cushion!
But you are in much better shape since you had one, right? And that's what they are there for, to USE!
Just got to build it back up now, that's all.

And no one wants to see me nekkid either.....well, unless they are one of those very disturbed fetish kind of people who likes looking at fat freaks.lolol

sluggy-I still think that you are procrastinating but then so am I. LOL I have a dozen things to do and I'm here typing.
I'll get more money back in the funds, it will just take a while. It just feels like people are throwing dirt on top of me in this hole.
And the guy that hit us won't answer the calls from the insurance agent. So I bet this is a dead end and we just lost $500. Oh well.
