Tiny Post!

I've been trying to make my life a little easier so I took a page from the Frugal Babe and started cooking some noodles for the week. I am also trying to keep a lot of cooked beans on hand too. I can't believe how much easier this makes life. I just add a little of this or that to the noodles and I have lunch or a side dish. It is also, helping with the damn lunches I'm making everyday.
Not much going on here,

Noodles wouldn't last in this house--I have one daughter who absolutely loves pasta. I do try to keep cooked rice on hand and I add different things to it for lunches or breakfast. Nothing going on here either but trying to keep cool in this horrible heat. Hope you have a great weekend. Take care.

Sheila-Nothing here.
It is super hot here too. I heard on the radio that a telephone pole just caught on fire because it is so hot. Crazy

From that comment I am thinking you are Not in love with making lunches for the family any longer?lol

Not much going on here either, unfortunately since I have a TON to do...bleh....I hate this heat!

I wonder if I can cook noodles in my mobile solar oven(aka van)?

Noodles are a good thing! I tried a new recipe tonight very inexpensive and really good...I forgot to take pictures. Just take some sausage and slice it (I used turkey) 30 oz can northern beans rinsed, drained, 1/4 tsp thyme, garlic, medium onion, tomato paste, 3/4 cup chicken broth. Start with onion, garlic and sausage cooking in pan when onions are soft add beans, tomato paste, thyme and broth simmer and I served with bread. :-) End of the month is always crunch recipes here the mortgage comes due! LOL

sluggy-It just seems that everything has slowed down cuz of the HOT! But I like it so much more than cold. So I'm not going to complain.
And yes, making lunches with love all the time blows.
