Happy Labor Day

Have a wonderful and safe Labor day! And just a couple of fun facts about Labor day. The first one was celebrated on September 5, 1882. It was held in New York City and the Central Labor Union planned it. So if you want to look smart tell everyone this little tidbit today. If you just want to show off, go here and read all about it.
Thanks for stopping over,

I'm just glad to have one last holiday before school starts tomorrow, though I have lots to do: iron my clothes, finish up my school work, make my lunch, cut my I guess I'll still be labouring away.
Hope you have a wonderfully labour-free day!

Thanks for the education about labor.
My own personal labor day was July 12, 1991......and December 13, 1992......and February 22, 1996.
Now go eat something picnicky!

Jane-Wow, you really have a late start. The kids here have been in school for a few weeks. I will be curious to see when you get out compared to ours.
Enjoy the last day!

sluggy-I did that on Feb.1 1992 and Jan. 14 1996. And that was enough of that.
Have a great day!
