I've got a bit more money, a whopping $3 from Pinecone. Oh well free money is free money!
So the new numbers are-
Pinecone $18
Toluna $80
BP $100
For a grand total of------$198
The bad news is gas prices are ready to hit $5 a gallon in the suck state of Illinois. It's fucking criminal what they are doing. Den and I have a theory on why they push the prices so high all at once. Your tolerance is being reset. We used to think that $4 a gallon was a sin but if they push it to $5 a gallon and hold it there for a while, you aren't going to complain when you have to pay $4 again. Bastards. I'm trying to look at the bright side of it all and I should get more money from BP for Christmas. The bright side looks a bit dingy.
Thanks for coming to see me,
SonyaAnn

I remember when I was a child my parents complaining about the price of gas and my dad making the comment that some day we would be paying as high as a dollar a gallon. Oh how we would jump for joy if we could pay just a dollar a gallon now.....
It's not like you to have a clean post title like that ;)
BASTAGES! I just filled up last night for $3.69. I remember when it was only $1 per gallon. My moped could only hold .75 cents worth and I was still grumbling...
I walk to work now and Fred works on-line. We hardly ever fill out tank these days. And yes,I am bragging.

Mamma-I'm so scared what is going to happen when it hits $5 a gallon. $1 seems like a long time ago!!
Sheila-I will hang my head in shame. Haha I said head.
McVal-Ummmm I would kill someone to get gas for $3.69 a gallon. It's $4.39 here.
Mark-Piss off!
For some reason, gas prices just don't bother me. Of course, we don't use a lot, so that is probably why. Last year we averaged $125/month for gas for 2 cars. I love that a tank of gas will last me 3 weeks with my regular driving. We will be paying a little more this year, but, hey, we are saving by canceling cable!
Please don't tell me to piss off.
Frances-Mark had that one coming!
Den drives 45 minutes one way to work. We could move closer but it is sooooo much more expensive for a house. Den works by Micheal Jordan's old house and Vince Vaughn's new house. So there is no way that we could afford it.
And I'm glad that you are saving money, Mark is just rude at times. We should spank him.
Wow, $5.00 this scares me to death! Do you live in a small town. When I was in St. Louis last year gas was about .25 cheaper than where I live in Idaho. Gas is $3.79 a gallon here up from $3.12 in January. But Hubby commutes 100 miles a a day so gas is a big deal to us.
I'd like to see you try and spank me.

Out My window-We live near Gurnee. Think 6 flags and gurnee mills. It's by the IL/WI border. I think we live in a busy town. It's nowhere near as big as Gurnee but it is getting there.
IL is just known for their high gas prices. I promise that we will be one of the first areas to hit $5. The minute they see another state hit $5 they will push it up. And then the other states will follow. They piss me off.
Mark-You would love, just admit it.
I'm with Frances. Not really bothered much by it. Increased gas pricing is typical during an election year. Keeps people talking about other than what really might be going on.
We're at $3.62/gallon here right now. Early in 2008, I remember gas prices were higher than this, then dropped by the end of the year. It may never be $1 a gallon again, but I won't be surprised if we do see it go below $3 again within a year.
Annie-Den drives a lot. It sucks for us.
It just makes everything else so expensive when the gas prices go up.
"Keeps people talking about other than what really might be going on."-Amen sister. It's all a bunch of crap.
