Fabulous Friday

This makes me want to paint my front door. How would Den respond? I think it would be fun. Or it might be one of those things that you repaint ASAP. We had mulberry paint that I thought would look awesome until it was on the wall. Then we repainted as soon as it dried.
It's just a door, right?

I like the concept but like you, would be afraid of the final result. I am kind of a neutral wall person myself, yeah, boring :)

My neighbor has a red door. Whenever we look at her house, our eyes are drawn to the door. That could be a great thing if you don't want others to notice the rest of the house ;o)

I think a red door would be stunning. Don't repaint as soon as anything dries. Live with it a bit. I am thinking about painting my side door, the one I use, raspberry.

When I painted my bedroom a pale pink, I panicked and ran to get my neighbor, asking her if it were too much, too pink. We stood there as it dried and came back later. It still looked VERY pink. But, it worked out okay and I still love it thirty-five years later.

Just don't get am orangey red. I vote yes. I do get a vote, don't I?

There was a nice house in my neighbourhood that had a red door and I LOVED it! For the past few years it has been repainted brown and what a drag! So boring and nondescript. I say - GO FOR IT!

Linda-I think a raspberry door would be amazing.
And that is awesome that you love a painted room 35 years later!
