Fabulous Friday

This fun idea is from Ever Never Again! Indoor balloon tennis!!!! Maybe I would have been a better mom if Pinterest was around when my kids were little. Maybe I should borrow a kid and do all these fun things with them? Maybe I should calm the hell down and look for a cocktail recipe instead.
Wrong genre,

Lol! Your a scream Sonya! Every day I read your blog first because I know it will make me happy and give me a chuckle! I actually used to play this game with my oldest son.
He wasn't that impressed though. You know how kids are. Have a great weekend!

I would have been a much better parent if any social media other than telephone and ball park gossip had been around/accessible when the kids were little. But that it my life motto. I have always been a day late and a dollar short.

Go have a cocktail and fantasize about how much better your kids are for having to create their own play instead of it all being mommy driven.

Never mind the kids. I can see some adults having a wonderful time with tennis balloons. After a cocktail or six...
And they probably wouldn't throw up in the kitchen either. And almost certainly not over their mother.

I am SO doing this with little Abe! Of course I don't have paper plates or craft sticks but I am great at improvising :)

MiserlyMac-I'm so so glad that I;m with you to start your day. If you actually saw me, well you would feel the same way. I'm quite dreadful in the morning.
Well you are a better mom than me!

Anne in the kitchen-I have never been the gossip type. I'm not good at being hateful. Maybe that is why I don't have many friends. LOL
Oh and its cocktail hour here. Go figure.

Elephant's Child-Now that I think about it playing that with adults would mean work. I'll just sit here and drink if you don't mind.

rivulet-It would be a great game to play with a little one. And it would be hard to break things too.

SAM_You have to post about it!!!!!

I think it would be a great game to play if you were a little tipsy -- more time to react to a volley.

Personally I think Pinterest has ruined parenthood. Oh the pressure to be uber-creative is just unbearable! The simple joy of a cardboard box with a couple of windows cut out or a fort made of chairs and blankets is a blast for most kids.

Donna Freedman-This may be the sport of choice around here. I need more reaction time. ;p

We are: Clamco-My little dare devil daughter always made cars out of the boxes and then rode them down the stairs. We knew she was going to be trouble from a very young age.
