I bought some fabulous lobster rolls. They were only $112 so I got a steal. Lol

I had to buy a secret Santa gift for one of my co-workers. On her list was something called Ginger Snaps. They are not cookies, but rather snap-on/interchangeable jewelry button thingies. I went to Gingersnaps.com to buy some and if you buy 4, you get one free. A local store carries them and had a special one day where they were giving away bracelet blanks for free! So I gave her 5 snaps plus the bracelet for under $30. Great gift idea and you can keep adding new pieces for different occasions. Check it out. A great gift for teens and older ladies too.

I am looking for someone to post an idea for a 12 year old boy. I forgot how hard they are to shop for.

I would probably buy a 12 year old boy a knife. Yes, we are rednecks:)

My best find wasn't a gift (except to me) - in the thrift store found Holt & Howard Santa candle holder for .25 cents that is worth 50-80 USD. I am keeping it though :)

Sigh. All I want for Christmas (and I will get it) is Boxing Day. The fuss is over, and I can point people at the fridge and (hopefully) read a new book.
I am so over this. Again.
I am channelling Scrooge over here - and we have a day less to get ready than you do. It is the 20th here already.

I teach 2nd grade and am just now off for break. Monday is my shopping day, so I am hoping to get it done (and find some good deals) in one fell swoop!

I believe I am done shopping. If I find that I haven't gotten something, well I will send hubby out to get it because I am NOT stepping foot into a store this week. I still need to wrap everything...sigh....

As for best finds...I really didn't find all that many great deals this year. I did buy the kids a $50 scooter when Amazon had them on flash deal for $18 each. Other than that no good deals. :(

I cannot say my best find, not yet. Walmart has a set of three juggling balls and a book of how to juggle. I got my son a pogo stick when he was 11. Maybe the boy would like that.
