Our 2016 Mission

Hmmmm, so I'm still going to post every week about what I have accomplished. Well, I'll keep posting until I stop accomplishing things. Then I will talk about soup or something.
I haven't gone through the bills looking for anything to shave off. Everything should drop once the boy leaves. I love him but he leaves everything on and his computer sucks so much power it hums. I haven't done anything to redo his room. But then either have you! (disgusted mom face to you)
I did hit the after Christmas sales. I can scratch quite a few people off the list as done. I spent $56.28. Go me.
I'm still dieting. Meh. I'm down 11 lbs. So I was down that much before and then the holidays hit so I had to relose it. I'm calling it even at this point.
I'm still not back to working on my books. I'm hoping to get back on schedule on Monday. I have to drive DJ tomorrow back to college so he won't be interrupting. Love him but he wants clean clothes and food way more than he deserves.
I have yet to get a million dollars in the bank. (disgusted mom face to me)
You accomplish anything this week? Don't say pooping.
Shitter,
Sonya Ann

Yah, I have spent a buttload of $$$ this week. But it is all to save later on in the year(birthday, Christmas, usual grocery spending). Although I made $33 at Rite-Aid to balance things out and I got my free Coke certificates.
Go me too! ;-)

My water bill came in and I am tracking the electric meter spinning like a pinwheel each day so all I can say is that CB needs to GO BACK TO SCHOOL!!!

I feel your pain.....

I've been a bit of a Debbie Downer from SNL about my 2015 accomplishments The calendar moved but the momentum needle did not. I did make an awesome tomato, corn, and black bean mix yesterday that should be versatile to help with low cost meals plus weight control-filling, low calorie, and enough spice to dress up boring chicken, or heat up inside a tortilla with a touch of cheese for a quick lunch that's not chemical induced pre-made freezer meals. Go me, sort of, I guess. I was feeling good about my post Christmas shopping-then I read Sluggy and learned I paid twice what she did on about 1/2 a dozen items. Boo me.

I haven't lost any weight (except for the 2 I gained over the holidays), but I'm trying to stay away from junk. I got a chicken salad sandwich at Chic-Fil-A last night minus the waffle fries. I made almost $300 in earrings for my hubby to sell at a convention this weekend. I suffered through a week of hell at work and didn't kill myself or anybody else. Go me!

Don't fee so down on your savings Sam. Given your time and place those were the best ones around, right?
Then you did awesome!

I managed to get some great buys with price-matching--on a post I am working on to post tonight.

Got my car back but it runs horribly. I am just thrilled it runs at all.

This is the biggie--I cleaned out the floor on the front passenger side of my car. Then, I had to go through the bag for recycling bottles, coke cans, bottle with water I will drink, personal information to burn, trash to toss. This cleaning is a red letter occasion for me.

That is a good word. Sometimes I feel like life is just passing me by. I think I am going with a phrase this year - "living in the moment" instead of a word. We shall see :) As for accomplishments I took Mom and the dog for a walk yesterday (accomplishment since the weather sucked this week and both were hybernating). I survived all the work we had to do to get hubby ready for his week long business trip tomorrow.

Achieve?
You are talking foreign languages again.
I have muddled through another week. Without killing anyone. Or swearing at many...

Even though I am retired I feel like I've been in holiday mode the last couple of weeks and now need to rest up. Usually I rest up by going back to work :) but now I just watch the birds, squirrels and the cats. I need to get off the shitter and get something done around here! Oh, I had an eye app't, does that count?

I survived the week. That is my big accomplishment. It has really been one of those weeks....

Have a safe trip taking your son back to school.
