Wicked Wednesday

This wicked Wednesday is dedicated to Anna. She is so proud of herself for landing a teaching job and you could also hear the fear in her voice, like what did she just get herself into.
I may need to put together a survival kit for Anna. Maybe crayons and liquor?
I can't wait to hear the stories that Anna will have. And the good news is she will have time off in the summer to come visit us and drink us out of house and home. I'm sure Den will be pleased when I tell him that I invited them back for next summer.
Lunatic,
Sonya Ann

Make sure to include chocolate, and maybe a fork. You know - so that she will know when she is done lol (stick a fork in it - get it?). She will do fabulous, she went to school and landed her dream job. The rest will fall into place.

When my daughter started teaching, she had to teach fifty grade for half a year. It took her three weeks to get them under control. The next year, she got the first-grade position she wanted and that is where she has taught for about fifteen years. She was so cute the first year because she said she loved them so. She said she thought of them all the time, even when she was not at school. And, she was giggling. Hopefully, Anna's job will be as fulfilling. What grade is she teaching? What subject?

Maybe include lavender infused tissues along with the chocolate?
She will be helped by all the other teachers. There is a book, something about Your First Year of Teaching. Maybe you can find it.

Huge congratulations to Anna. And crayons and liquor sound about right. I would like a care package with them in it...

She sounds like my daughter who wqas so afraid her new employer would think she wasn't competent. I'm sure she's going to do great.

I think she need crayons, alcohol and chocolate in that care package! Some of my kids best teachers were first time teachers. She will be great!

Crayons and a coloring book. Liquor, definitely. Some of Den's best baking efforts. A bag of some of your free-or-almost-free stuff from Walgreens or CVS, because you know how toiletries and such can break the bank right before payday.

In fact, why not make that an ongoing project? Get as much as you can for little to no money for a month, then take a photo before you send it off to Anna. You can showcase your mad couponing skillz and get a free post out of it.
