Fabulous Friday

I now have a new plan. Let's call it a life plan perhaps a frugal happy plan. I should start making gifts for Christmas but make them Halloween decorations. I would make gifts year round! I mean who wouldn't like a skull/bug picture Christmas morning? Nothing would make me happier. Honestly, this might be the way for me to concur my Grinchness.
This lovely and uplifting craft didn't have a link. So sad. But I'm thinkin' a garage sale picture, dollar tree bugs and a skull with a dash of old spray paint in the garage!
This is the most important question of the day, Christmas or Halloween? Do you have a favorite? We already know what holiday I love!!!!
Are you crafting this weekend? What are your plans?
Bugger,
Sonya Ann

I'm definitely Christmas, because I can get away with the decorations I've had for decades, putting green and red bows on things and calling it crafty, and heaps of baking for the "ooh's and ahh's". That being said, I love Halloween as well, but we've not been to big parties-perhaps the local pub with a few friends the Friday or Saturday before because I like to be home handing out the treats, or when my kids were young, sharing the duty with DH of taking the kids around. For both, I love the cheesy Hallmark and Disney channel movies, an of course all the classics. Give me a good Dracula, werewolf, or mummy movie and I'm a happy camper.

Christmas...the lights...the vintage ornaments, the way it is completely acceptable to drink like fish the entire month :) I don't enjoy the gift part (giving or receiving, that's the stressful part for me) but I try and get that overwith early. It's the only time my house looks like a rockstar!

I like Halloween, but I love Christmas, our daughter comes home from Japan each year and it is wonderful.

I am a Christmas person, in fact I have already started secretly listening to Christmas tunes. Halloween? I like decorating for it, but I don't put them up until a couple of days before Halloween. I get ton of kids on Halloween because every year I hand out full size Hershey bars. One kid always tells his mother he wants to go to the big candy bar house first. I kind of feel sorry for whoever buys the house when we sell it.

We don't do Halloween here, and Christmas gets overwhelming. My favourite day? Boxing Day. All the fuss is over, I can point hungry people at the fridge to forage on leftovers and I usually have a new book (or six).

I absolutely love Christmas and always have. However, as the years go by, Halloween is creeping up for me. I would love the frame with the skull. I still have not painted a Christmas house black like your last year craft you posted.
